Becoming a doctoral student
Doctoral positions are fully funded employments for the duration of the total programme length. The employment as doctoral student includes up to 20 percent departmental duties, e.g. teaching at first and second cycle level. The employment is extended by this corresponding time. Most of the education is carried out on SKH's campus and doctoral students are expected to be present at the workplace. It is not possible to apply to our doctoral program outside of the formally announced calls.

Call for PhD position
The call for proposals is closed. SKH is announcing five new PhD positions in the third–cycle subject area Performative and Media–Based Practices starting in January 2025. The call for applications is open between 15 December 2023–14 February 2024.
