Critical AI Working Group
Through reading events, workshops, and publications, the SKH Critical AI Working Group (in Swedish: Kritiska AI-arbetsgruppen – KAIA) fosters dialogue on how AI is reshaping audiovisual creation, the performing arts and, ultimately, the broader media landscape.
Situated in the subject area Film and Media, KAIA supports projects from diverse disciplines, all focused on advancing both methods and aesthetics in content creation, production, and their impact. As a hub for examining the ethical, social, and political implications of AI technologies, the group addresses issues like algorithmic bias, copyright, and the risks of automation of creative processes, striving for a more equitable technological landscape within the arts.
