Public something

Public something

First public sharing of the MA in choreography cohort 2024-2026.

An invitation:

You and I gather fragments of our belonging and spread them over the map of our tiny existence.  bell hooks tells us: What we cannot imagine cannot come into being  SO you and I move towards a situation we are curious to see unfold. To find relief from worries, to transform aggressions, and re-iterate again and again what is important. PLEASE IT IS IMPORTANT: (                                    )  Become the flyest version of yourself : musca Domestica,  as she flies high, looking flyer than ever before. As I witness my fine ass selves surrender to the full indulgence of my body, Meet me half way where stars touch dirt for time to rest. There is no feeling too intense for forest ocean and sky. In a gooning state  I just want you to focus on my love.

MAKOR invites you to please come visit us during Public Something. This three day something affords the pleasures of presenting and receiving art before it is quite cooked. The performances and dances presented are the fruits of the first year of collective study of the individual student artists’ processes.
