Degree students

Mea Sethson, soprano

Questions the many roles of women in opera as victims of trauma and the art of keeping her composure as a singer in harrowing scenes. She does so by working with Leonora's arias in La Forza del Destino by G. Verdi.

Lovisa Wahlund Ferm, soprano

Explores ways to enrich and enliven coloratura repertoire in performative staging. She presents arias by M. Ravel and GF Händel, among others.

Linda Evers, soprano

Tries out methods of approaching the values of the emotionally complex role Kostelnička, in Leoš Janáček's opera Jenůfa.

Jenny Viklund, soprano

Has used language as a starting point to explore one of the opera world's fascinating women, Musette. How does language affect not only musicality and drama, but also Musette's character and self-image. There will be scenes from Puccini's opera La Bohème.
