Tales Festival 2024 at Slakthusområdet
Welcome to the first part of the Master Film and media graduation exhibition Tales Festival. There will be talks, performance lectures, mingling, music and a bar hangout.

We are happy to present guests such as the Armenian-Russian Lusine Djanyan from Pussy Riot and the Dutch performance artist Barbara Visser. The days take place in the Slakthus area of Stockholm.
Take part in the first presentations of the MA degree projects in Animation, The Art of Impact and Radio - some of them work-in-progress, some partial and some in the form of installations.

Tales Festival Program at Slakthusområdet 22-23 May
Wednesday 22 May at Hosoi
- 16:00-16.30 Welcome! Tinna Jone opens the festival and presents the days.
- 16:30-17:30 Performance lecture: Barbara Visser - Alreadymade.
Barbara Visser is a visual conceptual artist, director and documentary filmmaker from the Netherlands. Her work has been shown at film festivals and exhibitions around the world. Visser currently directs the master's programme ‘F for Fact’ at the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam. - 18:00-23:00 Bar and music. The evening continues with music and bar. DJ: Jean Louis Huhta.

- 20:00-20:30 Performance by Dungeon Acid.
Thursday May 23 at Hosoi
- 16:00-16:30: Welcome! Teachers and Master's students from SKH present the day.
- 16:30-17:30: Talk: Lusine Djanyan from Pussy Riot - Art and Protest
Lusine Djanyan is an Armenian-Russian artist and democracy activist who was granted political asylum in Sweden in 2017. She has been part of the artist collective Pussy Riot and participated in numerous protests against the regime in Russia, Nordstream 2, Sweden's asylum policy and much more. She was also featured in Sommar i P1 2022.
Thursday, May 23 at House 25
- 16:00-23:00 Exhibition and presentations of MA degree projects continue. The exhibition is open to more visitors with the opportunity to meet the students.
- 19:00-20:30: You are invited to participate in Dilemma Dinner with Barbara Visser and friends. An event combining dinner and questions of authorship, identity, authenticity and the creative process in relation to A.I.
Tales Festival continues at SKH on Monday 27 May
Welcome to SKH on Monday 27 May for the final presentations of the MA projects. There will be a mix of film screenings, VR, radio documentaries and hang out.
