The Dark Summer is a short, reconstructed documentary: we meet Manouchehr, a 13-year-old child trapped in a 56-year-old body, yearning to explore the world but stuck in his trauma.
A survivor of Iran's political massacres, he confronts his torturer at the Stockholm International Court of Justice and sheds light on the atrocities committed by Islamists after the 1979 revolution. Work in progress.
