Marius Dybwad Brandrud’s Making Public
Marius Dybwad Brandruds doctoral project Ear close to mouth – conversations between film and philosophy is a study in and through filmic conversations. The project departs from the role of conversations in the education of philosophy. While philosophy most often comes in writing, the project takes an interest in how conversation can be presented as philosophical form, and how film can help with that. It culminates in an attempt to bring forward filmic conversations as a philosophical expression, primarily through the study's main material, which consists of the film Conversations on conversation.
