What would happen when you realize you don’t own your life, someone else owns it?
Dalida Shaheen is inviting you to present her short film Hayat, a story of a woman from the middle east who lost her passion in life because of the prejudice and oppression she encountered by the patriarchal society. The story is inspired by real stories.
What does Hayat mean? Hayat means life and life is a journey with all its details, happiness, sadness, success, and failures with all its ups and downs. Hayat's mirror is Hayat’s enemy. Her mirror tries to resuscitate Hayat to her life again but how and why?
As an actress, I asked:
Do Middle eastern women have a place in the acting field?
What is the impact of the audience on the actresses?
