AWESOME ARARAT/Artistic Research in ETC Solpark

Art appears in fields, in greenhouses, inside the art gallery and server house, but also under the solar panels and where visitors least expect it. There will be performances, films, sound art and VR-works by our students.

The exhibition runs from 3-11 June.

Opening hours:
Saturday 3 June at 12-18 Vernissage with performance, art, questions and ten new works that meet an audience.
Sunday 4 June at 12-16
Monday 5 June and Tuesday 6 June closed
Wednesday 7 June-Friday 9 June at 10-18
Saturday 10 June at 10-18 Sun party in the park ( Solfest i parken)
Sunday 11 June at 12-16

The café and shop will be open.

ETC Solpark in Katrineholm is a crowdfunded park with solar cells, greenhouses, experimental architecture, and a herd of sheep. A place for producing electricity and knowledge constructed around building a sustainable future. Among the owners of ETC Solpark are Cirkus Cirkör and the Seamen's union Sjöfolksförbundet. The park is one hour and twenty minutes from Stockholm city center.

The theme of Awesome Ararat refers to the ARARAT exhibition at Moderna Museet 1976. ARARAT is an Alternative Research in Art, Architecture, Resources, and Technology acronym.
