Lethe – One-Day Symposium and Book Release
As a culmination of their research project Lethe (2021–24), musicians Andreas Hiroui Larsson [percussion], Johan Jutterström [saxophone], and Anna Lindal [violin], present a one-day symposium dedicated to their research on forgetfulness as an artistic method.
The program includes a final presentation and concert by the Lethe-research group as well as solo and ensemble concerts and a panel discussion by invited international artists and researchers.
Andreas Hiroui Larsson, Johan Jutterström, and Anna Lindal are editors of the anthology Lethe: On Forgetfulness as a Guiding Principle in Artistic Processes. Additional contributors to the volume include philosopher Marcia Sá Cavalcante Schuback and composer Christian Wolff. The book is published by Stockholm University of the Arts, as part of the university's publication series X Position.
