The Art of Impact
The course profile The Art of Impact is aimed at applicants who want to deepen their knowledge base and seek new collaborative practices. Through augmented realities, we will enhance our awareness of the existing reality – but who’s reality? Methodology courses and practical fieldwork will interlink with seminars on literature and the study of knowledge philosophy and critical theory.
Will art ever be the same again? We believe collaboration is essential in order for us to understand our world of the past, our present-day world – and what is at stake.
360° cameras and binaural sound design will be tools for understanding conflicts. We will have a strong focus on narrative and audience, distribution and participation. We will create projects for public spaces, artistic projects based on research methods from a documentary tradition. The Art of Impact has an international approach and will include travels abroad in 2019.
Each term has its focus
- World-building methodology (collaborative storytelling)
- The political body (the world around us)
- Digitality & change (social innovation)
- The impact producer (artistic entrepreneurship)
