Swedish Institute Scholarship

Through the Swedish Institute, you can apply for scholarships to the Master's Programme in New Performative Practices and the Master's Programme in Performing Arts at Stockholm University of the Arts

The Swedish Institute (SI) offers scholarships for fully funded Master's programmes in Sweden. The scholarships are aimed at students and professionals from 32 developing countries who have ambitions to contribute to sustainable development in their home countries.

It is possible to apply for the Swedish Institute Scholarship for the following programmes at Stockholm University of the Arts starting in autumn 2025.

  • Master's Programme New Performative Practices
  • Master's Programme in Performing Arts

To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, you must fulfil the following requirements:

  • Be a citizen of one of the 32 eligible countries for the SI Scholarship for Global Professionals; (you will find a list of the countries on the Swedish Institutes webbpage)
  • Apply for a master’s programme that is eligible for the SI scholarship;
  • Be liable to pay tuition fees at University Admissions;
  • Have demonstrated work experience;
  • Have demonstrated leadership experience from current or previous employer, or from civil society engagement.

You apply for the scholarship directly to the Swedish Institute between 10 and 26 February 2025.
