IT

As a student you get a user account and thereby access to our systems such as email, printing and the Wireless network.

When you become a student at SKH you will get login information to a user account during the start of the semester/start of the course. Through the account you will have access to a network with the most common office programs, save files (no large media files) and ability to print.

To gain access to the network, you must sign a liability agreement where you agree to follow the rules for using IT equipment at SKH. You do this here: konto.uniarts.se

Wireless Network

When you have registered as a student and had your IT-introduction you will have access to our wireless network SKH_INTERNAL. To log in to the wireless network you need your card name.

Printing /Copying

To print or copy you need to use your tag that you received during the start of the semester/ start of course. To manage printing and to tap up your balance for printing log in to Papercut.

Operative system

At SKH we have a mixed IT-environment with both PC/Windows and Mac Computers. The goal is that information should be independent of location but it can differ in how you reach information between the environments.

End account

For programme students: You will have access to your user account including the email for 30 days after your programme has ended. After that the account, including files, will be deleted.

For students on a course: You will have access to your account including the email for 30 days after the course has ended. After that the account, including files, will be deleted. If you are a programme student that is also reading a course outside of your programme your account will be unchanged as long as you are part of the programme. 

IT support

As a student you have access to our Service desk for IT located at Valhallavägen 189. If your question isn’t urgent use the Green button on the start page on the studentwebb. If you have an urgent matter you can call the IT Service desk with the number: 8300 (08-49 400 300) between 08.00-16.00 (lunchbreak 11.30-12.30). If you not yet have access to your user account you can email: servicecenter@uniarts.se.
