We are delighted that you have chosen to study at SKH, welcome! Here we summarize the most important things for you as a new student.

  • Welcome to SKH

      Registration

      Before you start your studies at SKH, you must register. Registration is mandatory and a prerequisite for you to start your studies and access to computer account, school premises and other things you need as a student.

      Start of autumn term 2024

      Welcome to the Start of the autumn term at SKH, a week filed with activities starting 2 September 2024.

      Email and network account

      When you study at SKH, you will get a user account and an email address. The user account gives you access to SKH's web services and systems.

      Student aid

      Our courses and programs that last for at least three weeks entitle you to apply for student grants and loans from CSN – the Swedish Board of Student Finance.

      Targeted study support

      At SKH, everyone should be able to study on equal terms and have the same opportunities to conduct their studies regardless of functional variation. If you as a student have a functional variation that affects your ability to study, you are entitled to targeted study support.

      Welcome to SKH, we are happy to have you. On this page you will find information that can be useful moving to Sweden and Stockholm. Such as residence permit, personal identity number or insurance.

      Student unions at SKH

      There are three student unions at SKH and they are politically and religiously independent. As a student, you can participate in influencing your education and the university's orientation.

      Student accommodation

      If you are looking for accommodation in Stockholm, there are several ways to look for accommodation. SKH does not have its own student housing for rent.

      Equal terms

      Our vision is to be a non-discriminatory workplace and study place where people meet on equal terms and where our activities are characterised by openness.

      Deferment of study commencement

      Have you been prevented from starting your studies even though you have already accepted? Then you can apply to defer commencement of your studies.

      SKH’s processing of students' personal data

      SKH will process the personal data that you provide when applying to the university and other personal data that are relevant to your studies at SKH such as Ladok etc.
