Valhallavägen 189 (D building)
The building was completed in 2001 for SKH's predecessor, the Swedish Institute of Dramatic Arts. The architect was Peter Hesselgren of Scheiwiller Svensson, together with Ari Leionen and Herbert Scheiwiller.

The building houses professional film and TV studios, two cinemas, a theatre and a number of black boxes. Students work in a variety of rehearsal rooms, teaching rooms, group rooms, studios and offices. In addition, teaching and work take place in our radio studios and editing rooms for audio, film and video, our AI lab and sound lab. For professional productions, there are workshops for wood, metal and painting, mask and wig making, scenography, animation studios, as well as studios and storage for props and costumes.
