Boarding and alighting area

A drop-off and pick-up point for transport services and taxis is located outside the entrance. 

The place is not marked with a sign.

There is no footpath to the entrance.

Entrance hall

The entrance to Teknikringen 35 is reached via a ramp or stairs. The door is equipped with an elbow switch for opening. The opening dimension of the door is 94 cm. The threshold is 22 mm high and not bevelled. The threshold is flat from the inside of the entrance.

The door has glass surfaces and lacks contrast markings.

Inside the entrance door is a vestibule. The door in the vestibule opens with an elbow switch. The door and surrounding side sections have glass surfaces and no contrast markings. The opening dimension of the door is 99 cm.

Lift access

All levels can be reached by lift.
 

The lift door opens automatically when the lift reaches the floor.

The lift door is metal coloured and does not contrast with the surrounding wall.

The lift has emergency alarms, the alarm button is yellow. The call buttons have relief but no Braille.

Level 1

Entrance from the stairwell to Hugoteatern and other halls.
 

The door lacks elbow switch for opening. The opening dimension of the door is 92 cm.

The door and surrounding side sections have glass surfaces and no contrast markings.

Hugoteatern theatre hall

The door lacks elbow switch for opening. The door opening dimension is 74 cm but a double door can be opened for wider passage. There is no threshold. 

Inside the door is a vestibule. The door in the vestibule has no elbow switch. The opening dimension of the door is 74 cm, but a double door can be opened for wider passage. The threshold is 30 mm high and not bevelled.

There is no designated seating for wheelchair users. Space for wheelchairs is available on the stage floor in front of the seats.

Accessible toilet

There is a large toilet with space for wheelchairs on the entrance level at Hugoteatern and on level 2 at the library.

Passage to toilet area, opening size is 90 cm. There is no threshold.

The door to the toilet has a slight contrast against the wall. The door opening dimensions are 88 cm. The toilet seat has fold-down armrests mounted on the wall. Toilet paper holders are located on the left armrest.

The space is equipped with an emergency alarm with cord, located at the toilet seat and high and low emergency alarm at the door. 

There is no sign.

Library

The door has no elbow switch for opening. The door opening dimension is 93 cm.

The door and surrounding side panels have glass surfaces and lack contrast markings.

The threshold is 25 mm from the outside and bevelled and 35 mm from the inside and bevelled.

Accessible toilet, Level 2 at the Library

Passage to toilet area, opening dimension is 93 cm. The threshold is 30 mm from the outside and slightly bevelled and 35-40 mm from the inside and slightly bevelled.

The door to the toilet has good contrast with the wall. The opening dimension of the door is 87 cm. The toilet seat has a fold-down armrest, mounted on the wall, on the left side of the toilet seat. Toilet paper holders are located on the left armrest.
