Entrance

The entrance at Brinellvägen 58 is at ground level and the door is equipped with elbow switch for opening. The door opening dimensions are 96 cm. The threshold is 20 mm high and not bevelled. The threshold is flat from the inside of the entrance. The door has glass surfaces on both sides of the door and no contrasting markings. Inside the entrance door is a vestibule. The door in the vestibule opens with an elbow switch. The door has glass surfaces on one side of the door and lacks contrast markings. The opening dimension of the door is 87 cm.

Lift access

All in-building levels can be accessed by lift.

The lift door opens automatically when the lift reaches the floor.

The lift door is grey and has good contrast with the surrounding wall.

The lift has an emergency alarm. The alarm button is yellow. The call buttons lack braille and relief.

Accessible toilet

A large toilet with space for a wheelchair is located on the ground floor.

The door to the toilet has good contrast with the surrounding wall. The door opening dimensions are 87 cm. The toilet seat has armrests mounted on the toilet seat. The toilet paper holder is located on the left armrest. The space is equipped with emergency alarm with a cord, located at the toilet seat and high and low emergency alarm at the door.

Corridor to dance studios no. 8-11

The glass door to corridor to dance studios lacks elbow switch for automatic opening.

The door has a low contrast against the surrounding wall and the glass surfaces lack contrast markings.

Studios no. 8-11

The doors to the studios lack an elbow switch for automatic opening.

The door has good contrast with the surrounding wall. The thresholds are 22 mm and partly bevelled. 

The door opening dimension is 106 cm. No hearing loop.

Library

The glass door to the library has no elbow switch for automatic opening.

The door has a low contrast against the surrounding wall and the glass surfaces lack contrast markings. The threshold is low and bevelled. 

The opening dimension of the door is 103 cm.

Hall G

Entrance to seating from corridor:

Door to Hall G has a steep threshold wedge and 20 mm high threshold. The opening dimension of the door is 108 cm. The door has good contrast with the surrounding wall. 

The door lacks an elbow switch for automatic opening.

There is a vestibule inside the entrance door. The door in the vestibule to the auditorium lacks contrast with the surrounding wall. The opening dimension of the door is 87 cm. 

Entrance from the corridor leads via a ramp to seating in a tiered area.

There is no designated seating for wheelchair users. There is space for a wheelchair on the stage floor.

Wheelchair users can use the entrance from the corridor at Conference Room A, see below for wheelchair seating.

Access to the floor/stage is via a door from the corridor by Conference Room A.

The door to Aula G has a steep threshold wedge and a 15 mm high threshold. A 25 mm high threshold is available from the inside. The door opening dimension is 87 cm. 

The door has good contrast with the surrounding wall. 

There is no hearing loop.
