Governing and support documents

Here you will find various governing documents translated to English such as goals and strategies, policies and guidelines decided by the University Board, the Vice-Chancellor, the Director of Administration or the Board of Education and Research. In addition, there are supporting documents that are supplementary documents.

Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH) is a public authority. This means that we have to comply with a number of laws and regulations when it comes to handling various matters. The university's research and study programmes are governed by the Higher Education Act and Higher Education Ordinance, the Administrative Procedure Act and the Myndighetsförordningen (in Swedish). The university is also governed by several public laws and regulations as well as labour law rules.

In addition to national and international legislation, there are internal rules. Common governing documents are published on this page. The governing documents are grouped by subject area, and each document indicates the administrative department responsible for its content and the name of the officer in charge.

The policy documents are organised thematically under different headings: Operations and Governance, Human Resources, Education and Research. Under each heading, the policy documents are organised into policy document types: Goals and strategies, Policies, Regulations (forthcoming) and Guidelines.

Under each theme there is also the heading Support documents. These include templates and process descriptions.
