SSEA wins the contract to build SKH's building in Slakthusområdet
It is now clear who will build the Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH) building in Slakthusområdet, with occupancy in 2030. Following the procurement of the turnkey contract, an agreement has been signed with SSEA, which on behalf of Atrium Ljungberg and in collaboration with SKH, will build the new building.

Tempo Documentary Festival 2025
Tempo Documentary Festival 2025 takes place 3–9 March and is one of the highlights of the year, we think. This year, SKH is hosting an industry mingle and co-organising a discussion on VR as a tool in different storytelling techniques.

Ways of Knowing – Collective interdependencies
Over a shared meal with coffee and tea, we will engage in a conversation on collectivity, interdependence, and community care within artistic practice. Using the collaborative work of Rossana Mercado-Rojas and Valeria Montti Colque as a starting point, the discussion will explore their evolving partnership across projects, roles, and contexts. The seminar is part of the Wednesday seminar series “Ways of knowing Spring 2025”.

2025-02-03We are pleased to welcome five new PhD students to SKH. Together they form an international group whose research projects cover a wide range of artistic disciplines and will contribute to developing and challenging artistic practice both nationally and internationally.
