A thousand artistic possibilities in a uniquely multi-faceted environment

SKH is celebrating ten years as a university college with a whole year of retrospection and foresight.

From 1 January, the Vice-Chancellor of SKH is establishing a new position as Vice-Rector for Collaboration and Outreach. Erik Gandini, Professor of Documentary Film, will hold the role and lead the work of liaising with wider society.

Experience artistic research up close, as PhD students and researchers at the SKH present ongoing research projects. The week runs from 21 to 24 January 2025 and is open to the public.

For over two years, SKH has led a major collaborative project focusing on the role of circus riggers within professional circus education. The project is now complete and the outcomes - inspiring video tutorials, a vibrant international rigging community and a comprehensive evaluation - are available to anyone who wants to know more about this literally vital area.

International cooperation is an important part of education and research at SKH. Through an active dialogue with external partners and close cooperation with universities around the world, we strengthen the quality of our education and research and give students and staff the possibility to develop.
