      Research Week 2025

      Experience artistic research up close, as PhD students and researchers at the SKH present ongoing research projects. The week runs from 21 to 24 January 2025 and is open to the public. All presentations are live-streamed.

      Fully confirmed that SKH will move to Slakthusområdet

      SKH is moving in its entirety to a new purpose-built building in Slakthusområdet in Stockholm in 2030. This was confirmed this week when the detailed zoning plan for the building became legally binding.

    Stockholm University of the Arts, SKH, offers education and research within the fields of Circus, Dance, Film and Media, Opera and Theatre. It is both one of the oldest higher education institutions in Stockholm – and one of the youngest.

Through an active dialogue with external partners and close cooperation with universities around the world, we strengthen the quality of our education and research and give students and staff the possibility to develop.

      At SKH, everyone should be able to study on equal terms and have the same opportunities to conduct their studies regardless of functional variation. If you as a student have a functional variation that affects your ability to study, you are entitled to targeted study support.
